The law in Thailand requires that all riders wear helmet's!This fine parent would be facing felony "Child endangerment"charges in most Western Nations. It never fails to amaze me,with the total disregard for children's safety and wellbeing in this Wonderful country of Thailand. The number of motorcycle accidents and death's due too complete lack of common sense,is in the ten's of thousands in Thailand!I find this particular picture rather disturbing to say the least!I can understand the need to haul your children to school or where ever they need to be.What i can't understand,is the parent wearing the "ONLY" helmet! This,is the "NORM!",in Thailand.I have seen this same scene,in every village and city in Thailand that i have visited.I must confess, three riders is common here, and four is worth a second look, but five and six get the camera rolling! If you our wondering about "Child Safety Seats in Cars",forget it!Most Thais of this economic range(POOR),do not own a car.The family sedan, for lack of a better description, would be a small truck,if the family owned a vehicle at all! There is a very good reason that "Organ's"our readily available for Organ Transplants here in "LOS".....Nobody,ever wears a helmet!Buckle Up!luckkyybuddha999

Do you think he is a real "lord of the tattoos"? | Posted: 30 Mar 2010 11:16 AM PDT If you're not quite ready to wear the jewelry you made out of your victim's skin, no worries. You can start with Putrefashion, a bracelet designed to house living insects. Its creator said, "There are air-holes so they can remain living while you wear them! Jorge and I designed the bangle for some mealworms we procured at Petco. They like dry oatmeal or some hunks of potato." Honestly, who doesn't love dry oatmeal and potato hunks? I'll tell ya, those smug mealworms have really got the life. High fashion, great diet, AIR HOLES for god's sake. No one ever made sure I had air holes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
| How to Make a Pinhole Camera from a Matchbox Posted: 30 Mar 2010 10:50 AM PDT Only 11 objects will be needed for you to make a pinhole camera yourself. It is quite easy but demands some precisions. You'll see the process of making after the jump. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The camera looks pretty cool. Normally, it's a one time use camera, but if you are careful, you can use it several times. No precision is needed for an exposure time when using colour print film: 1 or 2 seconds when it's shiny outdoors, 5 seconds if it's cloudy and 5 to 10 minutes if you're taking pictures in a room with normal lighting. ![]() |
