This extension implements a pane that mimics the behavior of the Facebook "notifications" window. A bubble with the number of new notifications appears on the icon when you have some waiting Related posts:

Google recently launched Chrome extension to that allows you to receive orkut updates and scrap notifications. The popup menu allows you to quickly jump to a friends' page, search on orkut, visit your home/scrap/photos pages and share sites on orkut Related posts:
