Man Drives Bugatti Veyron Into Lake Posted: 16 Nov 2009 01:03 PM PST The owner of the most expensive car in the world has been forced to write off his $1m Bugatti Veyron after crashing into a lagoon. He told police he had dropped his mobile phone as he sped alongside the lagoon while taking his newly delivered car out for a test drive. When he looked up from picking up the phone he was startled by a low flying pelican which cause him to swerve off the road. House escaped unhurt from the wreckage but could do nothing to stop his car - one of only 15 in the US - from submerging in the water up to its door handles
Sydney Swimwear Parade Fails to Break World Record Posted: 16 Nov 2009 11:43 AM PST Famous for its beautiful beaches, it's not unusual to see residents and tourists alike wearing swimwear in Sydney but the number of people stripping off in Australia's second city almost broke new records yesterday. Hundreds of Sydneysiders took to the streets to try and set a new record for the world's largest swimwear parade in a bid to raise funds for charity. However, the official Guinness World Record, recently wrestled from former holders Las Vegas by a South African parade that saw 287 swimwear enthusiasts turn out, couldn't quite match up in numbers, in spite of authorities hoping thousands would strip off in the sunshine. Australia's love of Speedo-style swimwear, known as 'budgie smugglers' and bikinis saw hundreds of businessmen and city workers ditch their office clothes to take part in the event. They gathered on the steps of the city's iconic Sydney Opera House to pose for the world's media. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Night Clubs for Overweight People Posted: 16 Nov 2009 04:21 AM PST Do you have an overweight body?? don't be shy.. now you can join the special night club which is dedicated for an overweight person. California nightclubs "Club Bounce" and "The Butterfly Lounge" opened their doors to people who may not feel comfortable in other night clubs because of their weight. Club Bounce is couple blocks from the Pacific Ocean, with its flashing lights, friendly atmosphere and wall-rattling hip-hop sounds, caters specifically to fat people. These are big, big people, all dressed to the nines and many tipping the scales at 250, maybe 300 pounds. These clubs are still a novelty and they can be counted on the fingers of one hand, but their popularity is high. Visitors like the fact that no one stares at them and they can dance without fear of being watched and judged. For more details visit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
